Wood@Aldingbourne is a social enterprise under the umbrella of the Aldingbourne Trust, a local charity dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to achieve their potential across Sussex and in Portsmouth. We work alongside people to increase skills, live good lives and have great opportunities. We believe in strong partnerships between social enterprise and charity activities to enable people to have real choices and more independent lives.

As a Social Enterprise, we operate as a financially self-sustaining environmental group, generating income through various avenues such as our collection service, wood and product sales, and architectural salvage.
Every piece of reclaimed wood serves a purpose in our project. Whether it's providing material for our biomass boilers, or being transformed into unique wood products sold in our gift shop, we ensure that all reclaimed timber is put to good use.
